Relations between the ruling coalition and President Andrzej Duda have been difficult from the beginning, as was already shown by the president's December veto of the budget-related bill, which was justified by president's disagreement with the procedure for introducing changes in public media, which - according to him -was a "gross violation of the Constitution and the principles of the state based on democracy and the rule of law."
