Opinions on this subject are dependent on party preferences. Supporters of Civic Platform, Modern and Democratic Left Alliance are rather unambiguously in favour of the government supporting Donald Tusk in this, while most Law and Justice voters are against. Kukiz’15 supporters are divided on the issue, but more often than not are of the opinion that the government should support Donald Tusk’s candidacy for president of the European Council.
