Attitudes to the Territorial Army
At the beginning of this year the Territorial Army Act came into effect, creating a Territorial Army to be one component of Poland’s armed forces, an addition and complement to the country’s existing defensive potential.
Although the emergent Territorial Army has considerably more supporters (49%) than opponents (25%), it is nevertheless hard to say that it has been universally accepted.

Attitudes to the Territorial Army are highly politicised; its supporters are, for the most part, those respondents who identify with the government, the ruling party and the right wing of the political scene.
