The term ‘autism’ is widely known; 96% of Polish adults have heard about autism, 13 percentage points more than in 2017.

Over two thirds of those surveyed had come across an autistic person or at least the story of somebody with autism. This is a significant rise on the declarations that respondents made in 2017. Also the number of direct contacts with people on the autism spectrum has risen.
