People’s preferences in the 2nd round of the presidential election: results of telephone poll
CBOS investigated people’s preferences in the 2nd round of the presidential election in a survey running from 30 June to 9 July. Additionally, just before the crucial vote, for the first time in its history, CBOS conducted a telephone poll concerning people’s participation and voting intentions in the 2nd round of the presidential election.
In this poll, 81.3% of respondents said they would vote in the 2nd round.
Based on people’s declarations, neither of the candidates could be certain of winning the presidential election, as support for both was virtually the same. Rafał Trzaskowski was the declared choice of 44.6% of potential voters, while 44.4% intended to vote for Andrzej Duda.
The above data comes from a CBOS telephone (CATI) poll carried out in the period 8-10 July on a quota sample of 500 adult Poles.
