Are the Poles Ready for A Political System Change?
The majority of interviewees (72%) think that current political system in Poland requires many changes. Almost one third believe that the system is completely inadequate and requires fundamental changes. Only about one in five interviewees (23%) accept this system as good, however, the majority of them also notice a need for minor improvements.
It is worth noting that similar proportion of the Poles expressed negative opinion about Polish political system and emphasised a need for a change at the beginning of the decisive year 1989 and later in March 2003 when opinion on political system was as bad as just before the political transformation.
More on that issue can be found in the CBOS report in Polish: „Proposals for Systemic Changes in Poland”.
The data comes from the survey “Current Problems and Events” conducted in June 2015.
