The Digital Transformation of Public Administration
Four fifths of respondents (80%) are aware that a lot of official business can be carried out online, without the need of making your way to an office. Compared to 2017 this is an increase of 22 percentage points.
Many people make use of the possibility of dealing with official business online, although the predominant way of going about such business (chosen by 89% of respondents this year) is still visiting the appropriate office. However, almost one in three (32%) took advantage of the chance to do their business online, most often using a computer, but not infrequently also a smartphone.
