Links to local parishes are still rather strong (declared by 66% of interviewees), however, since 2005 it has been systematically decreasing. At present it is the lowest since the beginning of the 1990’s (it has dropped by 13 points since 1994).

Weaker links to the parish relate to smaller proportion of the Poles practising their faith in their local parishes (decrease by 11 points since 2005). There has also been noted an increase in the number of interviewees practising their faith outside their local parishes (by 3 points since 2005) and those who do not practice at all (by 8 points).
